Deacon Nicholas Mortelliti lives in Washington Township with his wife Marilyn. They have three grown sons – Gregory, Justin and Adam. Deacon Nick was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with three brothers and five sisters. He graduated from South Philadelphia High School, received an Associate Degree in Business Automation Management from Peirce Junior College, and a Bachelors Degree in Computer Center Management from Philadelphia College of Textiles and Sciences (now Philadelphia University). Deacon Nick attended the Camden Diocese School of Religious Studies, and was ordained a Permanent Deacon on March 15, 1997 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. He is currently assigned to Mary, Mother of Mercy Parish and he serves as Canonical Consultant for the Tribunal.
