Reverend William Kelly


Fr. Bill was born and raised in Conshohocken, PA. He is the son of William John Kelly, and Patricia Ann Golas Kelly, the eldest of five siblings, the uncle of 12, and the great-uncle of 4.

Before entering religious life and then becoming a priest, Fr. Bill was a CYO coach, a park and recreation playground supervisor, a hospital orderly, a religious education teacher, a director of religious education, an elementary school teacher, a high school teacher, a disc jockey, and a registered nurse who worked primarily in Pediatrics.

Fr. Bill was ordained on September 17, 2005 at the age of 49. Prior to that, he was a Norbertine brother. After ordination, Fr. Bill was assigned to the Parish of the Holy Cross in Bridgeton for 2 ½ years; and then moved to Ocean City and served as Parochial Vicar at St. Damien Parish for 2 ½ years. In November of 2014, Fr. Bill was asked by the Bishop to become our Pastor at Mary, Mother of Mercy Parish.
