Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

Participants in this ministry distribute the Body and Blood of Christ to the Faithful on behalf of the Parish so as to witness, to serve, and to realize the kingdom of God.  Completion of the Diocesan School of Liturgy, a one-day program, is required as well as the following: must be a registered member of the parish,  must be at least sixteen years of age, have received the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist, must regularly attend Mass and celebrate the Sacraments, and must be in good standing with the Catholic Church.  If married, the marriage must be one recognized by the Church.  Ministers are scheduled on a rotating basis and may serve at Mass or take the Eucharist to the sick and homebound of the parish.

It is a privilege and an honor to serve in a ministry.  If you’re interested in serving as an EMHC, please contact Margie Harkins at 404-7136 or the Parish Office.
